About

From the perspective of journalism and life records, I started a project called "HAZIME-MASHITE" which I talked to people on the street, learned about their lives, and published photos and stories. I have been working on this project since 2015, and in 2016 my first book was published in Kobe (sold out). I continued this project with a scholarship from a Japanese government agency "TOBITATE" and studied photography at an art school in Vancouver 2017 -2018. After talking to and taking pictures of more than 3,000 strangers on the street, I realized I had a strong passion for the power of visual storytelling through photography. For me, photography is all about people. Cameras are tools for communication and connection, and photos are the best friends to get to know one another. I’ve been based in Tokyo as a freelance photographer since 2022.

1995年生まれ、神戸市出身、東京在住。

「毎日、知らん人に話しかけたら？」先輩の一言をきっかけに、2014年より街行く人びとの話を聞き・書き、写真を撮る生活を始める。2016年に初版『HAZIME-MASHITE』を自費出版し、2017年にカナダ・バンクーバーで1年6ヶ月間写真学校に通う。2019年4月に上京。2022年独立。2024年4月、本および展示「13」発表。
